Northwestern University – Complete Turnkey Solution

Northwestern University of Qatar (NUQ) is in one of the most promising universities locatedwithin the Qatar Foundation — “Education City” in Doha; with a contemporarybuilding design and cutting-edge facilities developed to enhance the learning processes of a modern school of media and communication.

Oasis completed this project with no delays, at the pace of the client. This Spring 2017 semester NUQ community moved to their new building. Located next to the HBKU College of Islamic Studies, the new campus provides an array of state-of-the-art amenities.

Oasis was the exclusive provider in Lighting Solutions & systems integration for NUQ’s new campus, while the building was during its architectural development. The project includes 9 facilities — 4 studios, an auditorium, a large event venue, a newsroom, a projection theatre, and a forum area.

Oasis was involved from the beginning of the project, in the design and installation — our scope; with overall integration of lighting & control systems for three video production studios, black-box theatre, newsroom and large event hall. One of the unique solutions provided in multimedia newsroom, such as balancing the inside light with the outside light.
